El Questro Station

Amid the vast and ancient landscape of Western Australia’s East Kimberley region sits the untamed natural beauty of El Questro. El Questro is a destination unlike any other and offers the freedom to explore one of Australia’s last true frontiers.

From deep gorges and majestic mountains to thermal springs, mud and salt-flats, rainforests and cascading waterfalls everything the Kimberley has to offer is located across the property’s 700,000 acres and is why we say that El Questro is the heart of the Kimberley.

Choose to stay in tented cabins at Emma Gorge Resort, a bungalow at the station township or for the ultimate indulgence, spend a night or two in the luxurious surrounds of the Homestead, overlooking Chamberlain Gorge.

Overnight accommodation at Emma Gorge Resort from $215 per person.

Broome Hotels

Most Kimberley cruises either start or finish in Broome, and it’s worth adding a few days to the journey to relax and get to know this former pearling capital.

Beach lovers can choose to stay 15 minutes outside Broome township at beautiful Cable Beach. The renowned Cable Beach Club Resort is the only hotel located right on the beach, although there are several other outstanding choices, such as the Pearle of Cable Beach, Bali Hai and Oaks Cable Beach, located a block back from the water (often at significantly lower prices!).

Or, stay in Broome town at one of the large resorts overlooking the bay, such as the stylish Mangrove Hotel or Moonlight Bay Apartments. For something more intimate check into a historic B&B like McAlpine House.  Speak to our expert team for details.

Cable Beach Club from $174 per person, per night (low season).
